Only around 1% of intact men have any issues and would actually NEED to be circumcised. If an adult is in agony with heavy medication imagine how an innocent infant must feel only days after being born. Just because someone doesn’t remember an act being forced upon their body does NOT make it okay.

Besides if someone REALLY wants something done they will do it regardless of the pain. women get breast augmentation and labiaplasty, men get gender reassignment surgery and penis enlargement surgery. If a person wants something done to their OWN body that is their human right and no amount of pain will stop someone from getting something done that they really want. That doesn’t mean we should give infant girls breast implants as infants so they “won’t remember the pain”.

Pantheism and the Reintegration of Polarity

Religion…the agent of human disseverance, the polarizing mechanism of judgment which bisects Oneness into the prejudices of good and evil. Religion…unknowingly seeking the abolition of good through the destruction of evil, that which is blind to The Law of Opposites, whereby everything “contains two mutually incompatible and exclusive but nevertheless equally essential and indispensable parts or aspects.”

Although opposites may exist independently, it is the dualism itself that sustains how we define and experience them. Just as if a man lived his entire life in the dark, despite the sustenance of darkness, the lack of light by which to judge his state of darkness would leave him conceptually void of understanding either extremity.

It is the interplay of such opposites that births synergy as “the interaction or cooperation of two or more agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.” The collective consciousness so-to-speak, and its inseparability from the “parts” that comprise it. It’s closest kin might be called Pantheism, also known as Spiritual Agnosticism, whereby “God is everything and everything is God”, where nothing is estranged and “every existing entity is, only one Being; and that all other forms of reality are either modes (or appearances) of it or identical with it”. Here, the theist’s man-like God and its independent sovereignty are exchanged for the collective God such that “if ‘God’ (theos) is identical with the Universe (to pan) it is merely another name for the Universe and therefore bereft of any distinctive meaning; so that pantheism is equivalent to atheism.” (Owen 1971). It literally contains within it the opposing concepts of theism and atheism whilst freeing itself from their divisive differences.

Herein, right and wrong and good and evil are all but facets of an all-inclusive whole, for without these polar extremes how might we experience “All That Is”? If indeed there is a contiguously omnipotent, omniscient intelligence which is omnipresent throughout “All That Is”, is it by nature not compelled to seek out complete realization of all potentials, to experience its own division through the separateness of its own polarities? Mustn’t then division and oneness co-exist paradoxically?

Einstein’s E=MC2 showed that all matter is but a form of light. Is it really improbable that such an all-pervasive light is respectively “All That Is”, bringing to light necessary facets (and shadowing others) of “potential”, thus breathing life into qualities?

Is it impossible to see that everyone embodies all potential, all qualities, yet the light only reflects against relative associations, or “pieces of potential”, that have been fully realized for us individually? And as we define ourselves by these patterns, do we not deter our full realization by rejecting those polarities opposite of these self-adorned qualities? Are we so foolish to think that we are these very qualities and not those we have forgotten, buried, or yet to learn and integrate? As the antithesis of those attributes which we have mistakenly defined ourselves to be threatens their invalidation, have we not suspended ourselves within a polarity incapable of synergy? What could we gain through the realization that embracing challenging beliefs wouldn’t disintegrate who we are, but rather expand who we know ourselves to be?
